Overview

The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting IT security operations. The position will provide technical analysis, guidance and hands-on delivery in the planning, implementation, and ongoing operations of IT security solutions. Will participate in technical research and development to ensure there is continuing enhancement of security.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to security operations by analyzing logs to prevent issues and fine tune detections.
  • Monitor and identify incidents and support technical investigations to resolution.
  • Manage security assessments and testing.
  • Create reports, dashboards, metrics for security operations based on detected incidents.
  • Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to security user awareness training curriculums.
  • Review and support security configurations, certifications, and system hardening evaluation of business applications.
  • Contribute to design, development, and implementation of strategic IT security projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline. Certifications in either CISSP, CISM, CISA is a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting IT Security and Infrastructure.
  • IT experience in pharmaceutical or other FDA-regulated industry strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of ITIL concepts and follow the methodology.
  • Experience with ISO27001 or NIST cybersecurity framework.
  • Hands-on operational experience with Microsoft infrastructure platform.
  • Experience in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python is preferred.
  • Ability to author communications and system documentation, independently.
  • Proven record of quality, compliance, and delivery.
  • Experience working in a global organization is preferred.

Other Requirements

  • Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required at least 2-3 days per week.

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to articulate clearly and conduct verbal presentations with large and small audiences.
  • Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane.
  • Ability to view video display terminal images < 18” away from face for extended period of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifteen (15) pounds.
