Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing, the Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing is responsible for developing and executing consumer marketing strategies for an upcoming launch brand. This role will focus heavily on digital innovation and omnichannel engagement to drive awareness and education. The ideal candidate will bring a strong digital-first mindset, deep understanding of patient journeys, and experience navigating the regulatory landscape of pharmaceutical marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute consumer marketing strategies aligned with brand goals and consumer needs.
  • Execute omnichannel campaigns across digital, TV, social, print, and in-office media to reach broad and diverse consumer populations.
  • Evaluate campaign performance across media and digital channels, deriving insights and optimizing campaigns.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate data insights in a clear and impactful manner to diverse stakeholders.
  • Manage and collaborate with media and creative agencies to deliver high-quality, on-brand, and timely deliverables.
  • Ensure all digital and social media activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to review and approve digital content.

Minimum Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree (MBA, Masters, etc.) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in digital agency, marketing, omnichannel engagement or related function. 3 – 5 years of consumer marketing experience
  • Demonstrated success in digital campaign development and execution.
  • Experience with digital landscape and development of digital patient journeys.
  • Knowledge of website and advertising analytics tools, up to date with the latest trends & best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
  • Proficiency in digital campaign execution, SEO/SEM, CRM, and social media.
  • Strong understanding of content approval workflows, digital asset management, and MLR/RC review processes.
  • Ability to manage campaign calendars, budgets, and agency scopes with operational precision.
  • Launch experience preferred.
  • Experience managing media operations including media planning, buying, trafficking, and performance tracking, is a plus.

  • Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate various data sets to transform into actionable insights
  • Technology savvy, business oriented and nimble learning abilities.
  • Ability to lead through influence and use teamwork to work cooperatively toward most effective solutions.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships. 

 

Other Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10-20% of the year.
  • Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required at least 3 days per week.

 

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$170,000. Individual pay is determined by several factors, which include but are not limited to: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range does not include the comprehensive benefits, vehicle allowance, bonus, long-term incentive, or any additional compensation that may be associated with this role.
